I’m intrigued and inspired by all these girls posting about what they’re reading, what they plan to read, and what they think of the books they read… so I’m giving it a whirl… I really need to read more and be “plugged-in” less. That’s a huge goal of mine. {How sad is that? What in the world did we do before smart phones and laptops?!}
The book titles link up to my Good Reads account. {Are you on there? We should be friends!}
My 2012 reading list…
- Catching Fire {The Hunger Games #2} by Suzanne Collins. On hold
- The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks. Still waiting.
- If You Have to Cry: Go Outside by Kelly Cutrone. Always Reading. {it’s an amazing, motivating, and uber inspiring book}
- Hush, Hush saga by Becca Fitzpatrick. Finished. {This was one of my favorite books I’ve read… It’s very hard for me to get into a trilogy or saga of any sort. I have a short attention span. I never finished Twilight, I am still working on Hunger Games. I usually get bored after book #2… so for me to make it thru all 3 books and desperately wishing the final book was out – says a lot. If you like the paranormal, sci-fi, forbidden romance stuff – read this saga. I’m a sucker for all of those things – so I LOVED it.}
- Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy by E.L. James. Starting. {Loved this – can not say enough good things about it – no, the writing isn’t Pulitzer Prize winning, but the story is a good one.}
I keep thinking about a Kindle… and I haven’t decided how I feel about it. I love having a book, turning the pages, seeing the wear and tear of the books as I read them, I like having books on a shelf – call it nostalgia – call it crazy – but that’s why I haven’t quite jumped on the Kindle bandwagon yet. But I can completely see why a Kindle would be nice – less bulk, books delivered quickly, etc. What are your thoughts?
What are you reading? What’s your favorite book? What should I be reading?
