{Semi} Wordless Wednesday {My Life}

1. Sangria for Missy’s birthday. 2. My favorite fruit combination. Anything that’s strawberry/banana is good in my book. Especially the fruits themselves! 3. After our Relive the Moment shoot {more on that later} Amy and I decided to splurge on ice cream for dinner. Such a good decision. I had Oreo Cream Filling… best. thing. ever. 4. Red bull = my life blood. {this is no joke}. 5. Zucchini casserole. Holy cheesy, zucchiniy deliciousness. I’ll post the recipe I concocted soon. 6. Our new tea cups {filled with sleepy time tea – such a good idea!}… doesn’t it remind you of Chip from Beauty and the Beast? No? I’m the only adult without a child who watches Disney? … cool.

Moving on…

1. I LOVEEEEE wearing shorts and cowboy boots {y’all probably gathered that from the title of my blog, huh? #captainobvious} – maybe one of my favorite combinations. I mean, I’d wear boots with just about anything.  2. Ever have a morning where washing your hair sounds like nothing but pure, time consuming torture? That was me. However, I did manage to throw on a cute vintage Amrie Boutique headband. ;) 3. Please tell me this is not the best picture of me ever… I’m oozing sexy with my hands full of ice cream. You know you love it… Thank you, Amy for capturing me in my true essence. #not ;)

1. Last night we had an impromptu girls night. {Seriously LOVE these two.} It was Missy’s birthday and Amy was sick – I kept telling her all day that she just needed some whiskey; it’ll cure what ails ya… at least that’s what my Grandpa used to say. 2. Gallery Hop at the studio Saturday night – it was the unveiling of the Faces of Autism project and it went fabulously. 3. Dinner at Bucca Di Beppo for Missy’s bday last night - DELICIOUS!

I have been the world’s worst blogger this month. Ugh.

The holidays have taken over {which I LOVE}!

And I’ve been crazzzzyyyy busy at work helping Amy open her new photography studio in the Short North! So exciting and so proud of her! There’s a HUGE grand opening party Saturday {if you are in the area… you should come out! Some seriously fun stuff happening!} It’s been a really fun adventure helping her do this, so glad she has let me be a little part of it!

I have been overwhelmed by all these pretty things I keep seeing lately… I swear I fall in love wayy too easily with things {not boys, mind you… but things… and kittens.} And here they are… pardon me while I swoon over these pretties…

these are the ladies that inspire me. i enjoy seeing what they’re wearing to various events and outings. i am not, however, saying that they look amazing 100% of the time {jess has had some not so stellar fashion moments, but don’t we all?!}.

My Birthday Wishlist. {Semi Wordless Wednesday}

Hi loves – how are you?! I feel so very distant this week – what is with me?!
I have really failed this week at blogging. I equate that to it being absolutely disgusting here {we are talking 45 and raining – it’s the middle of May. Not. Cool.}, me not feeling 100%, and well, it’s my birthday week… so nothing else really matters. {ok, ok, so I haven’t really been celebrating it everyday – like I wish I could – but, I can dream and play “princess” all week if I want… and believe me… I have been… and not the good princess. yesterday I had an evil bout as the ice princess… bad. news. bears.}
BUT today… I’m much happier. So thats good for all parties involved – mainly, myself.
So, since it is my birthday eve {and Wednesday}…
Here is my birthday wishlist…

he. is. adorable. i want. {this is about the point years ago that I’d put on my begging, pouty face and say “daddyyyy, pleeeeeaseeeee, can i get him?! prettttttty pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease?!” cue pouty face, again… and, it would work. (I will have you know that this act works SO well that my Mom has been known to call me when she wants a puppy/kitten/polar bear/fuzzy cute animal and have me recite this to my Dad. That’s the truth, kids.) BUT i’m 28 – and this face and pouty voice doesn’t work on many other people. *sigh*} …and i don’t think Tric would enjoy him… cats + rabbits = a massacre. {i’ve witnessed this. RIP Rascal.}

What?! This is MY wishlist. Therefore, I can wish how BIG or small I want. And I want to go to Paris.
Now. Please send me, or pack me in your suitcase – I’m not picky.

Birthday breakfast, say what?! Lemon pancakes, people. I. would. be. in. heaven.

Hey, if I’m gonna dream – I may as well dream big. We all know how much I want to be a princess. {This week was no exception. I thought I was one.} Oh, Prince Harry… we would make the most adorable couple.
I wish to always remember this.
I need this.

I want to spend a day relaxing, reading, sipping mojitos right here. Someone needs to build me one of these… or just take me here. ;)
I know, I dream big. But thats the point of wishlists, isn’t it?!

p.s. I’m aware of my horrible capitalization errors. Sometimes I was on. sometimes i was off. It’s kind of very annoying, right?! Won’t happen again. promise. But it’s my birthday week, and i’m using it to all advantages. ;) {and I wrote this post over the course of a few hours, and kind of went in… and out of it. Oopsy.}
