It’s Monday. And I think this Monday hates me. I’ve spilled coffee all over my kitchen. Couldn’t find anything to wear because it’s cold. Dropped my phone and the battery went flying. Technology hates me. I didn’t eat breakfast and I forgot my lunch. {All due to the massive spill this morning}. I slept with my hair wet and can we please note how fabulous that turned out? Can I get a restart button, pretty please?
Okay, okay, I’m done whining.
Earrings//Kohl’s. Cardigan// J.C. Penney {years ago} Gingham button up// Target {many years ago} Jeggings// Hollister. Scrunchy Boots// Marshalls {please excuse the no makeup look too, ugh.}
Please tell me you’re having a better Monday. {yes, I know it could be much worse – but I just needed to complain for a minute, ok? ok.}
I wish, wish, wish I would stop sneezing and being stuffy. I’m SOOO over it. Last night I had a hot toddie {whiskey, tea, lemon, honey} for the first time and I think that’s what every sick person needs. It made me feel much better while I was drinking it. But I still woke up feeling yucky. So, I threw this on. Literally, just threw it on… it was one of those “just get dressed and look alive” mornings. I think everything I have on is like 3 years old.
Also, who wants to trade me closets? #pleaseandthankyou
Earrings// Forever 21. Pink Cardi// Express {I honestly think it’s from senior year of HS} Turq V-neck// Wal-mart. Skirt// American Eagle {by way of Amy’s closet} Yellow Sandals// Target {little girls}
Happy Wednesday… again.
Channeling my love of cats and animal print today. It’s a yucky, rainy day but a busy day! I’m working till early afternoon then heading down home for my brother’s bday celebration. Which I’m looking forward to. We are cooking out and having a scavenger hunt! And if you haven’t noticed… I really love this jacket.
This outfit would look great with a pair of Hunter rainboots… don’t ya think?? #birthdaypresent

Happy Saturday, lovers! Hope y’all have a fabulous weekend!
Well, that little taste of spring and summer has disappeared. It’s cold. I don’t like it. I do believe it’s made me a bit of a grump, but whatever.
However, that’s no reason to not wear bright, happy colors… right? right! {excuse the blurriness of the photo – it happens.}
Turq. Infinity Scarf// Made by me. Pink Blazer// Thrifted. Then altered by me. White long sleeve// Hollister. White flowy tank// Ruehl {may you rest in peace}. Black Leggings// Forever 21. Gray Slouchy Boots// Marshall’s.
I love my pink chucks. They are old and dirty and perfect. And more than anything, I love to throw ‘em on with a skirt. It just adds a playful vibe to whatever you are wearing them with. I love bandage skirts like this one {I have several} they are beyond versatile. You can dress them up with sky high heels, and a sparkly top or throw on a tshirt and chucks and you’re good to go. I stayed up a bit late last night reading the second book in the Hush, Hush series {if you haven’t read this book – do it. NOW} so I was a little sleepy this morning; hence the lazy attire.
Also, tonight is the One Tree Hill series finale {no, this has NOTHING to do with what I’m wearing} and I’m going to cry like a baby. I have been watching this show since the pilot episode aired and been a fan ever since. It’s funny how we get so addicted to TV shows, huh? {Maybe a little pathetic, too – but whatever.} But Brooke Davis will always be one of my favorite characters… on anything. Ohhh, tonight it going to be so sad. #passthetissues #ineedtobuyanewboxandsomewine
Earrings//Forever 21. Denim Shirt//Thrifted. Neon Coral Tshirt//Forever 21 {years ago}. Floral Bandage Skirt//Gabriel Brothers.
I love this jacket. It pairs perfectly with a lot of dresses and takes a fancy dress to casual. I like anything that does that. Versatile pieces are what my closet is made of. This dress is so old, probably 3 years old and my leopard flats have seen better days… but they’re beyond comfy and I love them.
Earrings: Kohl’s. Army Green Jacket: T.J. Maxx. Pink Dress: Old Navy. Leopard Flats: Target {little girls section}.

Happy Tuesday!
I walked out the door this morning and it’s cold. I think I have tunnel vision with the weather. I saw the number 75 on my phone… and just assumed it was already warmish… it’s not. But… it’s all a state of mind, right?! {Right!} So, I must confess, I’m a little bit of a J.Crew snob. If I won the lottery today you can bet your bum I’d just buy the entire store. You must be wondering what brought this up… {or maybe you aren’t} but it’s this FABULOUS skirt. Do you love it? I DO. Funny story {again, maybe not to you} but I used to have this exact skirt, in this perfect green shade from J.Crew… somewhere along the way it has gotten lost… {I secretly think my mom klepto’d it and won’t fess up.
} anyways… I stumbled upon the coral version at Goodwill, in my size, it was like the heaven’s opened up and there was a light shining down {yes, it was that serious}. So clearly, I’m now the proud owner of this almost vintage skirt {it’s like 6 years old}.
And I threw it on with this leopard top… why? Because, why not? I like, okay, LOVE to mix prints.
And the shoes… *swoon* these were a birthday present a couple years ago from my Momma. I heart them.
Earrings: Forever 21. Leopard Shirt: Forever 21. Coral Skirt: J.Crew {by way of Goodwill}. Black T-strap Espadrilles: Macy’s.
Happy Friday, lovers! And happy birthday to all those fabulous people I mentioned before!
White is one of my favorite colors {er, I know, I know – it’s not technically a color – BUT for the blog’s sake – it is} to wear. I have a massive collection of white pieces, they just go with anything. And add a fresh vibe to whatever you’re wearing. I found this dress while thrifting and loved it. But it was a bit too long for the look I had in mind. So I decided on the shirt underneath. I think this dress will get a lot of wear this spring/summer. {However, I think I need to tack the straps before I wear it again, they keep slipping off.} Also, these boots – if I haven’t mentioned it yet… are my FAVORITE thing in my closet.
Orange Necklaces: Flea Market and Antique Store. Purple Button up: Gap, years ago. White Dress: Goodwill. Chestnut Cowboy Boots: Thrifting.
Happy Thursday.
This is my favorite shirt. Ever. If you know me, you know why. {Clueless is my all time favorite movie}. I felt like changing up the makeup today with just mascara and red lips… and my nerdy glasses. I like it. {I think} and I think I wanna invest in some long wearing lip stuff. This doesn’t last {and is alllllll over my water bottle!}. I have had these pants for probably a year and haven’t worn them. They’re comfy, again… I think I like ‘em.
Earrings: Elder Beerman {Christmas gift from my parents} Clueless tank: Forever 21. White Cardigan: Target. Khaki, Cargo skinnies: T.J. Maxx. Cowboy booties: Kohls.
Happy Tuesday.
